The investor who hired my wife to stage his Buckhead property last week was absolutely thrilled with the results (see pics here), as we were confident he would be. After receiving the pictures we took of the final product, he has listed his property on the MLS at $399,000, which is perfectly reasonable for that house in that location. I have a feeling that he shouldn’t have much trouble finding interested buyers and getting a contract at that list price.
In fact, he was so happy, he has asked my wife to now stage another of his properties in the Buckhead part of Atlanta (an upscale area near downtown). This second Buckhouse house is a good bit smaller — 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths — and will likely be listed in the $120K range. We’re going to take a look at the property in the next couple days, and assuming my wife is interested in taking this job, we’ll probably have it staged in the next week or so.
Who would have thought we’d be busier with staging than we are with our rehabs! 🙂
J, I offered 10k and was not the highest/best. I am not going into a bidding war and am walking away. I need to keep the emotions out of it.

Hey Chris –
Never be upset about losing a deal. It’s a numbers game…there will be plenty more around the corner, and you’d rather lose one than overpay for one!
I’ll shoot you an email with my Facebook info…
