I spent the beginning of this week up in Milwaukee working on The WI-1 House…
We ran into a bunch of logistical issues last week, and I decided it would be more efficient to just spend a few days up there sorting things out rather than trying to get everything done from 1000 miles away. It was a crazy week of meeting with designers, dealing with city permits, buying materials, making detail decisions on where things would go and how they would look, etc.
But, things are moving along nicely. Our crew up there is fantastic (even if a little expensive), the house is really starting to take shape, and hopefully by next week, we’ll be ready for rough inspections and we can then start putting things back together.
