House #36: Foundation/Rear Yard

We’re still waiting for full building permits for The WI-1 House, but in the meantime, our foundation company was able to pull permits for the foundation portion of the job and get that work done…

As a reminder, we had an exterior wall that was bowing/deflecting quite a bit, so the foundation company came in, excavated the wall from the interior, straightened it and braced it with steel beams. While they were in there, we also had them cut a hold for a large egress window in the basement wall, put in a big window well on the exterior, tear up all the old concrete in the backyard, tear off the old overhang and grade the back yard.
