We finished the renovations on The Trifecta House today…well, we got within about an hour of finishing…
Our original plan was to have it on the market for this weekend, but with the bad weather we’ve been having and the HOA issues from earlier in the week, we got a bit behind schedule. So, in an effort to catch up, we scheduled a crazy day today.
While my wife and I staged the house, our contractors were busy installing the appliances that were delivered this morning and taking care of the long list of punchlist items. At the same time, our house cleaners were working around everyone get the house cleaned. And in the middle of it all, our project manager was busy installing new outlets, switches, mini-blinds, etc, putting the final cosmetic touches on the house.
Everyone was tripping over one another, but after 10 hours of crazy work the house was basically completed. The final details — hooking up the gas line to the stove, adjusting a couple doors, finishing the mini-blinds, etc — will be completed first thing in the morning. We’ll also be taking pictures first thing in the morning, and putting the house on the MLS at some point tomorrow.
The best news is that between prospects for The Lake House (which is still listed on the MLS) and The Flood House (where we had a lot of interested buyers after the house went under contract), we’ve been able to put together three or four showings of The Trifecta House this weekend…even before it hits the MLS. The first showing is at noon tomorrow — hopefully we can have the house completely finished by then.
I’ll post some AFTER pictures in my next post…
Talk about keeping it in the stress mode! Make sure to take a good 2 day when you get a chance 🙂
